Hospice sends a visiting team. Our nurses cover the hours in between, including overnight, working alongside the hospice team and your physicians.
Recovery after surgery or a hospital stay
The first days home are when medications get confused and incisions need watching. A registered nurse through those days, until the recovery no longer needs one.

Our team
A small team, on purpose.
We keep our team small and choose every nurse ourselves. The same few nurses come to your home, learn your routines, and notice when something changes. You are never explaining things to a stranger.

She spent seven years in emergency departments in mid-Missouri and across the country. She saw how hard it was for families to find excellent nursing at home, and set out to build it here in Columbia.
Fees
Private pay, starting at $80 an hour.
Shifts start at 5 hours and can extend to care around the clock. The rate for your household depends on the hours and the care involved, and we will give it to you on the first call. We do not bill insurance, Medicare or Medicaid.
Where we work
Columbia, Ashland, Hallsville, Centralia and Rocheport, in Boone County. If you are farther out, call us.
Discretion
Care that stays private.
- No marked vehicles at your home.
- Billing can go to a family member, an assistant or a business manager.
- Every nurse signs a confidentiality agreement.

Discharge planners, hospice teams, physicians and attorneys in Columbia and across Boone County can call us directly. We arrange the in-home assessment with the family and, with their permission, keep you informed.

Payment
Do you take insurance, Medicare or Medicaid?
No. Our care is private pay. Some long-term care insurance policies reimburse private duty nursing, and we can provide itemized statements for your claim.
What does it cost?
Care starts at $80 an hour. Your rate depends on the hours and the care involved, and we will tell you on the first call.
What our nurses do
What can your nurses help with?
Medication management, wound and incision care, monitoring and vital signs, and personal care such as bathing, mobility and meals. Every plan starts from an in-home assessment, so the care fits the person.
Do you replace hospice or our doctor?
No. Our nurses work alongside your hospice team and physicians, covering the hours they cannot. We keep them informed with your permission.

Every nurse is a registered nurse, licensed in Missouri, insured and background-checked. We keep our team small and choose each nurse ourselves.
Will we see the same nurses?
Yes. We match a small group of nurses to your household and keep them with you, so care stays consistent. If you would like a different nurse, we will arrange one.
